what do u mean by pattern?well admission pattern will change till 2012.it wil be pass/fail pattern to get into dental school.

well i have no idea about that rumors.i called ada a month ago to ask about admission criteria and they said it will change till 2012.it wil lbe pass/fail pattern.
regarding internation dentist program every univ has its own criteria.u can ask ur state dental board or the univ.personally i dont think so it can happen.u tell me who has the stamina to study 5 more yrs?:)atleast i dont:)if they make it 5 yrs then why not go for DAT rather then doing boards and working so hard for scores.

BEGINING JAN 2010,A CANDIDATE WHO HAD RECEIVED A PASSING SCORE MAY NOT RETEST UNLESS HE OR SHE PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT HE OR SHE MUST RETEST FOR PURPOSE OF LISCENSURE..... Huh

hey..this is whtz i found out
From Jan 2010 no one will be allowed to take retakes if he passes the exam. So if you pass thats it, thats your final score for next 5 years.if you fail you can always retake. This is the same as USMLE.
From Jan 2012 scores will not be reported. Only pass/fail will appear on your result.
These are two different policies.
hope this clears the confusion

ii talked to one of ada official and she said that pass/fail system will be effective from 2012.for retaking she said there will be certain rules for retaking next yr and they will explain it on their website by nov or dec 09.so lets see.but it sure is getting complex day by day. Undecided

YES QUITE LATE BUT WHY UR WORRIED ABOUT RETAKES FOR NEXT YR?I MEAN ITS JUST MAY AND THERES TIME IF SOEMBODY WANT TO WRITE EXAM OR RETAKE.

I have tried downloading most of the stuffs.....................................thanks to al of u,planning to take btn oct-nov, can u suggest if the time available is suficient if I start preparing from now, i finished my BDS in 1998.
